Welcome to Fallen Fruit Farms

Fallen Fruit Farms is a tiny hillside farm in Benicia, California centered on seasonal food, fermentation, and slow living. Overlooking the Carquinez Strait, this working farm is home to fruit trees, gardens, chickens, bees, and handmade projects—creating a one-of-a-kind space rooted in simplicity, creativity, and resilience.

Small but Mighty

At just 0.34 acres, Fallen Fruit Farms is proof that big things grow in small spaces. Every square foot of this hillside property has been shaped with intention — fruit trees, vertical gardens, beehives, chickens, a micro-vineyard, and sweeping views of the Carquinez Strait.

Small acreage, big dreams. This farm is still growing — and so is everything on it.

During your stay, you'll likely meet our three free-ranging hens, whose fresh eggs stock the farm stand, and our friendly Bernese Mountain Dog. Depending on the season, you may also see sheep grazing the hillsides as part of our natural weed management program. We're continually growing the farm and hope to welcome a flock of Muscovy ducks in the near future.

Butterflies & Bees

Butterflies & Bees

From honeybees and butterflies to hummingbirds and native pollinators, Fallen Fruit Farms is alive with the gentle rhythm of nature. Our thriving honeybee hive helps pollinate the gardens, orchard, and vineyard while producing small-batch raw wildflower honey.

From striking Monstera, Anthuriums, and Alocasias to Brazilian Begonias, Persian Shield, Calatheas, String of Pearls, and Chinese Money Plants, each specimen has been carefully collected and lovingly cared for. From time to time, visitors may even have the opportunity to take home a rooted cutting—a living reminder of their time at Fallen Fruit Farms.

Situated on a small, south-facing hillside at the foot of Napa Valley, our micro-vineyard enjoys a cool breeze from the Carquinez Strait and Suisun Bay, producing balanced Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc with vibrant acidity and complexity. While we may have only a few humble grapevines, they carry big dreams—our personal homage to the world-class wine country just up the road.
